    Great video! I bought a cheap $99 electric pressure washer about ten years ago for around the house. It’s not as powerful as the one you reviewed…but it serves the purpose for my needs. I do hate dragging a power cord around…but it’s not that big of a deal.

    NO air restriction! Whole house? Depending, a person may use two room air purifiers. Everything depends on everything (in regard to the system), mainly, how clean do you _need,_ or want the air... _but NO air restriction!_

    Yesterday I did a search for "best way to cut carpet" (I'm installing hardwood) and this video was the second one suggested. Thank you so much for these tips! They were all spot on fantastic, but the shovel tip is the best. Today I prepped my 16' x 24' living room for the hardwood install - carpet removal, tack board removal, staple removal, all of it, and I was done in three hours. Out of five rooms I've put hardwood flooring in, this room is the biggest and the prep time was shortest. You saved me a bunch of time and a whole bunch of hassle!

    Would finger joint stop work if I rip that? I’m trying to figure out how to cover some gaps between floating floor edges and baseboards. Baseboards just aren’t thick enough to cover all the gaps because the flooring I installed had instructions to leave 1/2” to 3/4” gap on outside for expansion. I don’t want to get thicker baseboards because I want baseboards to be thinner than casing.

    looks like more of a 1800psi machine. nice with all the attachments. But, I live on the BC coast and electric is useless here. We get a coating of thick green r black gook every winter. Left longer it develops into an inch thick of moss along my 200 foot driveway. The deck used to take 3.5 hours with an electric Karcher unit. So I got gas machine and a big surface cleaner. Can do the whole deck in 30 minutes now. Carport used to take 2-3 hours, now it take 30 minutes. I even did the roof of the house a couple times when it gets an inch of moss across it. Electric is not there yet, for our needs.

    I started this video thinking you were going to tell me I've been doing it wrong. It's a good tip, but I have always done it that way because it just makes sense to me. Lining up the blade and the front of saw with your cut gives better accuracy cause you are aiming with 2 points. It's like rifle sights. The farther the two aiming points are apart, the more accurate you can be.

    The load rating of the anchors is only for force applied pretty much at the wall surface. Because you were using an extendable bracket and hanging off the arm, that extra leverage could have effectively doubled or tripled the your weight, so the anchors actually held up pretty well. Extendable tv brackets are probably one of the only situations where you’d have something so heavy mounted so far out from a wall, but for any wanting an extendable tv mount, make sure your anchors are rated at several times the tv weight, an don’t hang off of them 😂

    Is it 4000psi? Lol no. Some Ytber did a big compro with these electric washers and found the Ryobi one the best, but that was years ago. That model came closest to its psi rating and GPM. What really limits these is the power - if 240 20 amp circuits were more prevalent you'd have around 3x the power to work with.

    Very surprised and somewhat skeptical regarding the 4000psi. I would like to have a way to measure the water pressure. I've used only electric power washers around my home for decades. I find they do not last long. It seems the pumps wear out quickly and the pressure at the tip declines. Otherwise, the plastic bits just begin to break. Nevertheless, it beats having to obtain, ferry about and store gasoline (and keep the boys from "experimenting" with it).

    • @planesandbikes7353
      @planesandbikes7353 День назад

      it's obviously equivalent to the under-2000psi units. But the number of nozzles and the surface cleaner would leverage that power to be more useful than electric PW I used in the past.

    I'm sure not all electric ones are the same, but I ended up with one for free and I was blown away by the usability of it. I figured it could never have enough volume/pressure with an electric motor. I was wrong. The one I have is a happy mix of just enough to do what you want to do, but not so much that you can easily get in trouble. Big power you're still gonna need gas, but the fact you can take a break and these things just shut off when you let go is so nice. I should add because you're talking about it. Specs. Noooo way they right on yours, I know they are not on mine. They are rarely right on any powerwasher.

    Used a Karcher in UK and SAfrica- trick to them lasting over a decade is to only use for an hour or two at a time . Keep hose dry and store in a shed. Surface cleaner is great as stops all the spray and dirt from flying up onto your legs.
